The connector where the home button ribbon attaches is broken. Will the iPad work with no home button attached there and broken prongs? I have the assistive touch so I can use that. Just wondering if it will function other than that.
Hi, An iPad (or iPhone) is able to start without having a home button connected, absolutely.Note: I have seen reports (though never experienced it myself) that when it boots without the home button, the process can take quite a bit longer than normal.
