Chosen Solution
Today I tried to repair the HDMI port and being a big ham fisted twit ended up knocking off three black squares from just behind the port. Does anyone know what these are. Photos of damage and also one of one not damaged attached
All three of those are diodes. I don’t know where to find them other than from another motherboard. When I need to replace them I just take them from a junk motherboard and solder them on to the one I’m fixing. I hope that helps.
