replaced front screen and digitizer. All appeared to work fine except front camera. After rechecking all connections then nothing works. A test with the old lcd/digitizer shows some screen life but the new replacement shows nothing. New one defective?
Good possibility. Try exchanging your “new” display assembly for another. See what results you get
