the US model CUH-1001A B01 labeled with 120V on a sticker on the box with a US power cable - does it support 230-240V EU standard voltage? I was not able to find any infos on it. the official guide supplied in the box states 60hz 120V at 250W.

" The power supply is rated at an AC Input of 100-240 volts. This means you can take your game around the world with your trusty PS4 always at your side; just remember to bring your power socket adapters. " from here. "

Its confirmed, its stated 120V on my box but its actually dual voltage and can be use internationally.

I have the same question. the official site of Sony writes a 110v power supply to 240 volts Update Per the FCC sample label… Power req. is specified as 100-240VAC ~ 50/60Hz, 2.5-1.15A for the test kit Power req. is specified as 120VAC ~ 60Hz, 2.1A for the 1001A

The ps4 120 V is dual voltage.. I took the risk; I plugged it in and it works . Don t worry guys ;)

I know this is an old thread. But I just moved from Australia to the USA and cb confirm the Au 230V version (as it is marked), does still work in us. It just needs a power plug adapter (not a power converter). No smoke!

According to the European PS community. Yes you can! http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/P

Listen guys, not very model is the same. I have unboxed mine took everything off and I cannot see the battery because they screwed the aluminum plate via the other side. Just do not take the risk if you do not know if its 120-240v compatible. I’d recommend all of you guys to buy it at your local country, and if its not available just wait for a couple weeks. I bought mine in America thinking it would be cheap. Now I have to get an 300 watts converter because the 85 watts converter blew up. A 300 watts converter will cost me €50,- ‘‘‘So thats:

Playstation 4 - 1 Dualshock Watch Dogs Battlefield 4 Playstation Plus+ Network (3 Months) Total: €385,-

Converter 85 Watts - €25,- New converter 300 Watts - €50,- Total: €75,-

€385,- €75,- +

€460,- ’’’ With that money I could buy one in here and have no problems at all. I have a chance that my Playstation 4 will not last that long and because I opened the !@#$ up I dont have any warranty.
