My sister has a HTC Desire X phone. Link: http://www.htc.com/nl/smartphones/htc-de… It has a crack in the top screen only. The display itself is not damaged. Can i replace the top screen. Where can i buy the parts? Thanks in advance.

You will need an lcd separator machine to separate the lcd from the glass as they are glued together and it needs to be put on a special hot plate. Tutorial and lcd separator machine reviews can be found at www.lcdseparatormachines.com if your interested..
Be carefull! Hade the same problem with my sisters phone. I first tried to replace the Digitizer Glas, but its full glued on the LCD screen when I tried to seperate both the LCD broke. You have to replace the whole display unit. I bought them from ebay. Didn’t find it on ebay.com but on the german site. It’s about 90€ http://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-HTC-Desi… Even this is the whole TOP-Unit it was still not very easy. Hope I could help!

hi, yes be careful , Bernhard is right the digitizer glass is stuck glued with the lcd screen and it broke with me as well so i needed to change the whole display unit. i found it on ebay and it’s cheap : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/for-HTC-Desir… i ordered it and still waiting for it

how to stick the digitizer to the display\front pannel .please help mine is not sticking i cleaned it with glass spray also
what you have to do is heat the screen up with a hair drier or hot blower and then remove the screen
