MacBook Pro 15" 22 Core 2 Duo Models A1260 the silver border around the lcd of my 15" macbook pro has a crack in the bottom right corner. Everytime I open my laptop, it feels like its pulling the clam shell/casing apart even more. eventually i know it is going to break so how do i fix this panel so that its secure?
This is a know defect. Apple will usually replace it for free. Either take it in to a store or get pictures to email to them and garble your answers so the system has to take you to a live person. Contact Apple here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
