Chosen Solution
So, Ive done my research and from how the mac book pro is made, It appears that only the outer glass panel is cracked. There are a couple minor cracks near the upper part of the screen and only one of them actually is on the screen and the camera still works fine with no cracks or problems. But since there are no problems with the picture or the LCD screen its self I don’t think it will need to all be replaced. The cracks are unseen from about 10 feet away. Now many question….How Much with this cost to fix? and Who should I have fix it? (Apple or Third party or DIY) Thanks!
Only you know how much money you want to put into repairing it. The most expensive place IMHO would be Apple - you can look for quotes on the web or at your local computer repair shop. You could even DIY (after all this is the DIY repair site). The glass is integral to the LCD so as a DIY repair replacing the entire LCD would be the way to proceed.
