Hi, i dropped my iphone7 and there is a tiny crack on home button, due to this tiny crack sometimes home button works and sometimed it doesnt. When it works I cant use it for authentication, i can only use it to get out of app and go back. I spoke to apple and they said it could cost upto £316
You’ll have to get the screen replaced by apple. I think it should cost less than that because a screen replacement from apple also covers the home button too. 316 pounds sounds like a out of warranty replacement phone which is not needed.
