Simple Answer not possible! The i9 CPU’s use a different socket (high heat) and the systems EFI (BIOS) doesn’t offer the needed firmware support.
If you are in the SF Bay Area and have the CPU, I can rebuild the firmware. This is not rocket science. Man made machines should have ways to make them work. Never say no without giving a try.
