I replaced the charging port on my sons iPhone 5s and it still had charging issues so we backed it up and did I a full wipe/reset. After the reset it restarts during the setup and we can’t get through it all. I thought it might be a software issue so I hooked it up to my computer and did a restore through iTunes. It said it completed but as soon as you go through setup you can get the restore from backup and it restarts. I assumed it was a bad charging port or battery so I ordered a new charging port and battery from here. After replacing both it still will not go through the setup without restarting. I tried skipping the restore from backup and got into the iOS home screen then it restarted again it will not stay on longer than 5-10 minutes before it restarts. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to get it back up and running.
Full wipe and reset is done through the phone settings. Sounds like software has become corrupt. The only way to fix this is try and update first via iTunes and if that does not work do a restore.
When you restore is there an error apear in itunes.? If theres an error it would be a hardware problem the if theres no error in itunes try to restore it without camera n lcd…
