I replaced my screen and now the number two cable wont re connect… number 1 and 3 do just fine. it doesn’t appear that the connectors on either end are damaged. what do i do?
Look on the #2 ribbon cable, if the number is 821-0766-A, this is a 3GS screen. The 3G screen will have 821-0621-A for the part number.
You definitely have the wrong part, the correct part can be found here.
It’s very bad as there are lots of tutorials out there on line that say that screens are compatible. Vendors do that too. Sucks!
