Hi Everyone, After chancing a Display and battery on my iphone 7, the touchid / home botton not working at all. Give to somebody more expert then me, he tell me that there is a damage on the socked of the TouchID pin. I’m not and expert so I don’t know how to / and if it’s possibile to fix. It’s hard to see if the connector is damaged from the photo you uploaded. What usually stops the home button functioning after removing and installing the screen on the iPhone 7 series is a tiny tear in the home button flex coming off the screen. The tear usually occurs at the 90 degree bend. You may need some magnification to check.
