Chosen Solution

Hello all, I’ve replaced the digitizer and LCD on many iPads before. But today when I replaced a digitizer, I was greeted with no backlight after screen replacement. After I power cycled it, the backlight was working but it was stuck on an Apple logo before finally showing connect to iTunes. I’ve disconnected the battery and reconnected but to no avail. Now when I try to select update on iTunes, all it does is show the loading bar and doesn’t do anything. I haven’t tried restore yet because I don’t want to lose data. Is there any solution to this?

Nevermind, I installed Dr. Fone(Trial) and upon clicking the iOS repair, it would say that I could not use the feature since I would have to buy the full version. Nevertheless, once I closed out the program, the Apple logo appeared and fully booted, but took over 4 minutes to boot.

Sorry. If you’re there, you’re there. Gonna have to restore

Tiny Umbrella may still also work for exiting recovery mode even though it’s super old
