Would like to have some input. Never opened up an iPhone for repairs. This will be my first. here goes. I currently have 2 iPhone 6S’. The one i’m using now has a few defective components. 1:The battery is at 80% capacity, 2: The earpiece speaker barely works. And good news is that the thumb print is still good. Now for the second phone. 1: The thumb print no longer works but everything else on the phone is A1(battery 100% and speakers are all good). Now what are my options? I want it to be like new. Am i best to transfer my logic board and thumb print(home button) to the phone that has the good battery and speaker? Do i transfer the good battery and earpiece speaker to the phone that has the good logic board and home button? Again i want to know what would be the easiest way to do it far a newbie! Thx for your help
It would be easier to swap the logic board. Batteries can get damaged on removal. Remember the home button has to follow the logic board around. Logic board replacement
Put your screen (including speaker and home button) and logic board from iphone 1 to iphone 2 ( iphone 2 is the phone with good battery) and you will have one good working iphone, no other things you have to transfer.
