Hello! I have a Galaxy S6 G920i and exchanging the lcd complete after a few minutes the screen began to darken to fully burn . By analyzing the logic board found a heating near the connector area. The component in question is being displayed in the image attached . What is the name of this component and serving the same ? Have you seen something similar and will have to repair ?

Maximiller Comaccio that is reference designator U7003 which is listed as a IC-SWITCH REG. Samsung part number is 1203-008507. the issue with Samsung is that they do not list the components by type etc. just strictly with their part number. If you do a search on Google you will find quite a few for usual cost of $10USD. since it does get hot etc. From whatever little schematic there is, it appears as if the IC is part of the LCD Touchscreen circuitry. I would definitely consider changing it.
