Supports 8GB RAM in a MacBook A1342 ? and It supports hard drive 1tb macbook A1342 ? thanks

As you can see in reviewing the two systems specs you could have the older model which can only support 8 GB or you could have the newer model which can support 16 GB. As for the HD the limit is physical space limitations & the SATA I/O speed. Your system supports a 2.5" x 9.5 mm (yes, the measures are in both english & metric (mixed)! You system has a SATA II (3.0 Gb/s), so you do need to make sure the drive is compatible. Not all drives run at SATA II many today are fixed SATA III (6.0 Gb/s). I would recommend you get a SSHD hybrid drive Seagate Laptop SSHD and here is the spec sheet for the drive: Seagate Laptop SSHD specs. This drive offers auto sense technology and will work in your system.
