How to? Where is it? How to access? ASUS won’t help me…
I just couldn’t let go and dismantled the whole machine. The video was accurate. 51 screws and about 10 cables to open to change the battery, Well Designed ASUS! Multimeter showed nice voltage for the old battery, so I’m not sure if my RTC and bios settings will stay on memory now…
Hi you have to remove the back cover. It is a plane CR2032 Battery like in a desktop PC but if you look at the following video you have to disassembly nearly the whole laptop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-XPppIh… You will see the battery at minute 1:11 Hope I could help you.
here a cmos battery image , i think you have to remove the back panel or more i dont have found any service manual or instruction . It is a CR2032 Battery hope this helps
Weird, my mb looks just like this:
, BUT there’s no battery where it is in that pic. 2 photos from cpu downwards of that alibaba’s pic: (ODD connector is white in my mb, black in alibaba’s)
Those 2 metallic poles might be holding something on the backside. Maybe the battery is flipped there?
