Hello all, I have an Amana NTW4610YQ0 in my apartment that has been giving us a fit for a while now. 9 weeks ago we started having issues with the washer not moving through cycles properly, not spinning, and not getting clothes clean/spun out. Maintenance came 3 weeks ago (after 5 weeks of “waiting on a part”) and replaced the lid switch and left. This did not fix the issue so I had to put another work order in. Fast forward 3 weeks and they have now replaced the control board. The washing machine will now move through all cycles completely and the clothes smell clean, but are soaked at the end. It will not spin on a normal cycle, but we can set the knob on drain/spin and it will finish out. Any ideas on what is causing this? I do not want to have to contact them again if its something I can fix because I already had to pester them (main office folks) like crazy because of how long this took. Also-I checked the drain pump to see if it was clogged before they repaired anything and since the control board was put in I have recalibrated it. Thanks!

If your washer will not spin out all water and clothes are still wet, the drain pump might be clogged with debris or possibly faulty. There could be a foreign object that is stuck in the pump and inside the drain hose. Check these areas and remove anything that may be clogging the draining system on your washer. I know, but recheck it anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8keWJnTa
