I bought a phone that has bright spots on the upper left corner of the screen. Searched it up and discovered that something may be between the LCD and the shield plate. Upon opening the phone I found that there was a bunch of residue on the LCD. What’s the best way to clean it without further damaging the phone?
Bright spots often indicate water has leaked inside the screen. In any case even if it was dirt trapped between the LCD and the glass you’ll need to replace the screen. A glass removal and repair require special tools and skills that make such repair close to impossible on a DIY basis.
