So a bunch of these Samsung Chromebooks were thrown out of my school cuz they were too old and won’t update anymore. But they are still managed by the school. Any way to remove that remotely? Or do I have to contact the school?
You need to contact the school. You can’t factory reset the device or anything to stop it.

Better contact the school because you might have problems if you’ll try to do it by yourself. But to me, that’s still strange why they don’t remove them before throwing them out. It was a big problem for me during my education and I even got a mental breakdown. It was the last straw because the study load was too big. But then I found some useful sources with information for my papers, started spending less time on homework and decided to look at this topic. All I got after my research - better ask the school.
