There appears to be a chip taken out of the top of motherboard and a golf piece is broken off. What parts are these and can they be fixed? iPhone is turning on fine but the touch screen isn’t working.

The touch screen isn’t working, is this caused by this break in motherboard. iphone 4 and did quite a bit of damage to the front. The screen was badly cracked but would still turn on but the digitizer wouldn’t work. I have since replaced the lcd and digitizer and check many times to make sure it is connect correctly and the lcd works but the screen is not responding to any touches. I have replaced lcds and digitizers before successfully so I don’t think it’s a connection issue. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks in advance.

zaef89, just to be a tie breaker here :-)That part is reference designator SP1_RF which is the spring Upper antenna-N90. It is unrelated to your digitizer. Check your 343S0499 touch controller and see if a reflow could fix this. Of course you will have to check your logic board for any other missing, broken, or burned components. Hope this helps, good luck.

That part is for the wifi range.

That’s for the camera, grounding clips. The wifi conductive clip is another story.
