I am receiving the check fan #1 message when I turn on our Samsung 67" DLP television. I know that there are 3 fans inside and I’ve replaced the larger fan already but I can’t figure out which fan is fan #1 and what the right part number is. Every fan I’ve ordered ends up being the same size as the bigger fan and I’m pretty sure I need the smaller one.
@chs00802 your set use 3 fans. One large one and to small ones. If unsure, use the image from the service manual to verify the fan. Following the wiring from the control board to the fan.
Since we do not know which part number you replaced, check on that for us. It should be BP31-00032. The smaller ones are BP31-00025B which some manuals list as no longer available. BP31-00025B still shows as available at places like this. A substitute for that is BP31-00029A.
