My son’s Kindle Fire 10 inch, the charging port is not charging when you take a close look at it the tab is cracked so its not taking a charge. Where can I take it to be replaced? My wife and I have been to 3 different places and they stated they only work on ipads.
the most reputable place im aware of to take it, is CPR Cell Phone Repair. It is a franchise with over 200 stores open in north America, and repairs come with a life time warranty on quality. If you are interested in repairing it yourself, it really is not a too difficult repair.
I’m not sure where you are located, but Ubreakifix is a franchise with locations across the country. I had this same issue and they were able to fix it.
I too tried Ubreakifix 30, Oct 2021 - Said it needed soldering and that it would cost $150 labor just for soldering! Planned obsolescence has come a long way - now it’s Enhanced Costly Repair/Replace obsolescence! I get it! Why do we put up with this crap???
