When I connect Iphone 4 for charging, I get massage of " Charging is not supported with this accessories". I tried different chargers and still getting the same massage appeared on screen. Can you please help me with this.
Nishikant, “Charging is not supported with this accessories” is most ofter caused by a bad dock connector. Make sure that you are using an original cable, I have plenty of aftermarket and even 3G etc. cables that give me the same error. If you do have the right cable, make sure that your dock connector is clean, free of corrosion, and does not have bent pins. You can clean it with isopropyl alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air. Should that not work, I suggest to change the dock connector. Use this guide to replace it and you can get the connector from here, as well as many other places. Hope this helps, good luck.
This pops up when the charger isn’t an Apple charger, you might check your battery icon while it’s plugged in and see if it show’s that it’s charging, it usually is even though you get that message, if it’s not in fact charging I would start with buying an Apple charger to fix your problem.
