Hi, Ive lost the charging case for my airpods, is there an alternative way i can charge the airpods? Maybe by applying the correct voltage to the power connections on the bottom of each airpod? I do plan on getting placement charging cradle but its not possible for me at the moment. Thanks.
Sadly, you need the case. The only option I could see here is visiting an Apple Store to see if they would be so kind to let you charge your ear pods. I would tell them you’re visiting and left your case at home in some other land. It’s probably a matter of locating the positive & negative locations on the pods, I have the same situation since last night, and the going to the Apple store is a good idea
I’ve had a pair of airpods for more over a year and have barely used them a handful of times. Sadly, the airpods simply fall out of my ears. The problem was solved by using silicone covers for the airpods, however this created a new issue. With the covers on, I couldn’t charge my airpods. It’s a pain to put on and take off the covers. I have used this guide to find lost AirPods. The charging of the airpods is done with two pins (the bottom silver parts, which are separated by plastic breaks). I was wondering whether there are any supports that can charge the airpods directly.
