MacBook White 2010 Hi! I have a 60W Magsafe Charger with a strange problem! The charger will not charge the battery, only shows green light, but never amber. The percentage of the battery doesnt go down either and does charge with my brothers charger, but not with my charger? I have tried to do a SMC Reset, clean the charger and the charging port on the MacBook, but still dont work? Just annoying that it keeps the battery at the same percent, but wont charge it. It doesnt work on my brothers MacBook either. Charger dead, or what?
If it charges with your brothers charger but will not charge your machine or his and his charges both: you ,have a bad charger. Take a look at the pins and see if they are extending (sometimes a pin will get stuck down) use a toothpick to push them in and out to test.
