i using the lighting cable provided charged for whole night but it does not turn on. During charging, beats x only beeping red light, what does it means?
To reset your headphones Hold down these two buttons for 10 seconds:Power buttonVolume down (–) buttonWhen the LED indicator light flashes, release the buttons. Your earphones are now reset and ready to be set up with your devices again. For everyone who these other tips didn’t work for , i verified my software was up to date and tried the reset, however these dint work. i couldn’t even get any light from my beats x. What did work is i pinched the base of the rubber connecting the power button to the charger port, and stroked it from Charger port to power button. I was hoping that maybe there was a loose wire inside and needing to be reconnected. IT WORKED! hopefully this helps everyone else!
i was also facing the same issue, i have encountered a solution for this issue i went to http://your.beatsbydre.com/#/ and updated my firmware then i reset my beats X then i turned it on it searched to connect my earphones with phone it worked HOPE this can help you guys
Just plug in a charger and move it upwards and downwards and to the sides until the light, mostly the pulling the charger connector downwards does the trick it will only stay aslong as there is pressure
just squeeze the rubber part between charger port and on/off button (that hangs around your neck) all the way. It works for many of us!
I held power button till they reset. Without letting go of the power button (led should be off) hold middle button 15 seconds when it robooted mine stopped blinking. Let it charge fully (may need to hold power button down 30 sec if blinking starts again.) then works again. hope this helps someone
I have tried this method and many others to get my BeatsXes functioning again and nothing ever works. The most hope I’ve had is plugging them into my Mac with the Updater running and then doing the “serious” reset by pressing the power button and the middle button on the inline remote and holding both at the same time for about 30 seconds. They power off after 15 seconds but I keep holding the buttons just in case. Then, I let go and after a few more seconds (during which, the LED blinks red and white), the Beats Updater recognizes them and they seem to be charging but the battery level never seems to increase (according to the Beats Updater which shows the same 1 of 5 dots on the battery indicator).
Best one I’ve found that has worked for everyone who hasn’t been able to get all the other ones to work. hold your power button down as you plug it in and it resets. I just got mine, plugged them in and nothing happened, couldn’t connect them or see any lights at all. Everything I tried didn’t work, doing the neck band press, the reset power and volume, power And answer, and all the button pressing, taking a crap on them, nothing worked. That is until I found that one and it works now for the very first time, like a Virgin…
