Phone is about 9 months old for the past 45 days it has been more difficult to get it to charge - when it does connect - it charges fine, have tried 3 different cables & AC/USB adapters, the cradle is about the only one that still works. The Jerko who sold it to me with the 1 year warranty says ‘Hello, you may send the device to Sony for servicing in the UK but please not that if they deem the phone as physically damaged they may charge you an “inspection fee” on top of the shipping charges to send it there.’ Is this any easy fix - I have repaired a few Iphone 4s units in the past. This is a solder job. You would need to replace the port. You will need something like this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Pcs-Micro-US… However, its only been 9 months. I would contact Sony Support and have them repair it for free.
