What type of tool do I need to use to change my tail light in my 1988 K 1500 4 X4 Chevy pick up? Is it one piece tail light or their bulbs.
Hi @johnb1971 , Here is a video which shows how to remove the tail light assembly so that access can be gained to the bulbs. However it lacks detail. Here is a video showing more detail about removing a similar tailight assembly and also when you have the assembly removed. Although it is not for your model vehicle, the tail light assembly mounting and design is very similar in concept and it should be of more help
