Washer wasn’t draining. Had a tech check it out and a small sock made its way into the tube that goes into the pump, blowing out the pump. (Washer wouldn’t drain.) Ordered a new pump as he told me it was a rather easy DIY project.Changed out the pump, as well as replacing the electric wiring that came with the new pump. Attempted to run the washer and no water is filling the basin. (Yes, the valve was turned back on after shutting off to work on the project.) Wasn’t having any water filling related issues yesterday; it just wouldn’t drain and since installing the new pump now it won’t fill with water. Suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for all the help. Wound up getting it solved. Outside of a hard reset on the device (unplug, hold down ‘start’ button for five seconds, plug back in)—I remembered that I followed directions to do a spin-only cycle before the tech came over yesterday, but it didn’t finish and he manually got rid of all the water. Curious if the machine was sensing there was still water in the basin, I ran a full spin-only cycle to completion (after the hard reset), did another hard reset of the machine, ran a standard wash cycle—and voila!—we had water again. Not sure what trigged what, but we’re officially back in the game and this DIY hack actually did something handy himself. Thank you all again.
