I’ve received a Mid 2010 13” MacBook Pro from a friend, and the 7 key seems to not work. I was wondering what you’d recommend trying before replacing the keyboard assembly. I was also wondering if the keyboard for a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro of the same size would connect to the logic board, as they have the Launchpad key, instead of the dashboard key, and that’s what I prefer.
