Chosen Solution
I just got a cassette deck, and only the right spindle turns counter clockwise when you press play, (the other spindle doesn’t spin at all.) And when I press rewind only the left spindle turns. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Jacob, this may be normal operation, when one spindle is turning I believe the other spindle will be free wheeling. If you are having an issue with the cassette deck and it is new, return for refund or exchange. I will attach links for you to check out the operation and trouble shooting of a cassette player.
