I can’t get the roof of because I don’t know how to remove the flags.
@robertrsmith Robert, From your manual which is the 1st link below, give the flag installation instructions, so what you want to do is more or less is the opposite to remove the already installed flags. Attach the roof flags by holding the pole underneath the roof and lowering the flag through the roof hole until the two pieces snap together. Flag pole has a cylindrical shape so turning the flag 90 degrees should facilitate it snapping in. Flag should not be loose, but rather should rise and fall with the pole when the carousel is ON. You will want to find the flag pole connection under the roof, hold the lower part of the pole below connection tightly to prevent damage, then turn/spin the upper pole slightly while pulling straight up to disconnect.
