Macintosh Plus 1Mb got 250V and mine got…… 275VAV and 250VAC - don’t know what does it means :( is it ok?
I really can’t tell where you are trying to use this. But here’s an explanation of VAC The voltage rating is a function of a switch’s ability to suppress the internal arc that occurs when a switch’s contacts open. … So, in the example below the maximum amp rating for this switch at 250 volts AC (VAC) is 10 amps; the maximum amp rating at 125 volts AC for the same switch is 15 amps. Here;’s where you can get parts and advice on replacing the caps on this machine: http://maccaps.com/MacCaps/Repair_Servic…
Now I’ve done this and I’m SCARED to connect it to socket and switch on - as I still remember what was happened when that old capacitor blew up :( I’ve also soldered that capacitor in random polarity.
I also ripped off circle pad on (around capacitors one of the pins) right side of capacitor (next to the scratch) and soldered it to upper path - which I’m not sure if should it be separated or it is part of the path to capacitors leg
