Chosen Solution
I disconnected printer ,I have loaded drivers from epsen downloads ’ loaded apt-get install lsb downloaded 1.6.18 ESC/P-R Driver (generic drivers) epson-inkjet-printer-escpr_1.6.18-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb Then downloaded 1.0.2 Epson Printer Utility (epson-printer-utility_1.0.2-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb) then downloaded 1.0.4 All-in-one package for scanner ( iscan_2.30.3-1.tar.gz) Reconected printer(USB) and all that happened when I try to print something ,is it runs the paper through without printing on it. I’ve done this twice now and still won’t work. I’m running the latest LUBUNTU
Open a web browser, goto http://localhost:631 Check to see if your epson printer is properly added and set correctly here. When you are done playing with the settings, either restart the computer or from terminal $sudo service cups restart
