My Canon EOS60D was on a tripod with USB cable in place. Tripod was knocked over and camera landed on the Port side, meaning that the USB plug hit the floor first. Since then the USB connection has not worked although all other camera functions are fine including HDMI interface and remote trigger. Is it possible to replace the USB interface board and if so, how? I’ve looked at your guides and none go as far as accessing the USB board. Thanks in advance Harry Watson

Hello! Thankfully (since cameras are so pricey) they are generally repairable. However, parts can be difficult to find, especially for a camera of this age. Have you tried contacting either Canon support, or a local camera store? They will likely have parts, or be able to repair the board themselves. If they cannot, you could try to solder a new USB connector to the PCB. In the meantime (or if you determine it isn’t possible, too expensive, or too risky to try and fix the USB) try removing your SD card and read the data off of it.
