Solved Cannot Upgrade From 8 0 To 8 1 Pc

Intel board (DH55HC) with i3, 128G Crucial SSD running Windows 8Pro, activated (upgraded from Windows 7 Pro activated). I cannot upgrade to 8.1. All updates appear to be completed as the Upgrade to Windows 8.1 appears as the first image in the Store. I have tried using the upgrade option in the Store, downloading the installer from windows.com/nfrdownload. The update runs, installs 8.1 then fails at the end and reverts back to 8.0 Pro. Any ideas would be wonderful. Thank you, ML
