Hi, To turn off the red light: With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes. Here’s a link to the Uniden Dect 6.0. D1760 User guide. Scroll to p.13, (under Voice Message Notification) to view details of how to reset the light.
