i was asking to see if i can upgrade the ram on the Microsoft surface Pro 6?

The Surface Pro design includes RAM that’s soldered to the motherboard, and so without major “gut renovation” this cannot be accomplished.

You can’t add RAM. But that might not be your problem. You’ve probably maxed out your hard drive, like my wife, and so the computer is bogged way down and slow. On the back of the case, under the FLAP, there is a micro-SD card slot. You can put as big a card as you want in there. I just put a 256gb micro sd card, which doubled the storage for $50. This, coupled with deleting useless apps and files, should make it run faster. When you’re out of RAM, the computer uses mass storage for “Swap files”. This is why this works.

The RAM is soldered to the motherboard. So, it would be extremely difficult to upgrade.
