Hi everybody! I was in the process of cleaning each invididual key on my MacBook, and I accidentally ripped part of the “A”-button’s membrane underneath the key. Is there a simple way to replace this, or is it way to complicated to even begin with? The button works fine, but provides less feedback when pushing it, compared to the others.
Sadly you can’t replace it, you might be able to glue it but this won’t be easy and will require a steady hand. Replacing the uppercase I think is your better direction than trying to replace the keyboard sub assembly.
