One of the zif-connectors (actually the one for the bottom display), the handle jumped out. I was not able to reassemble both parts, so the question, can this be repaired? Is there a trick in reassembling both parts? Or if it is gone, where to buy a new one and how to swap?

i have looked and if you read the most helpful answer in this post below hopefully it can help you. ZIF connector is broken, is there a way to replace it?

If it leapt out of the socket without you doing much of anything, it probably isn’t damaged and can be reinserted … very … carefully. I was able to get mine back onto its hinge by carefully inserting it horizontally and working the metal tabs (the thick ones on the ends, not the delicate pins) until it snapped into place. Study the mechanism very carefully and compare to other ZIF sockets on the board to get a sense of how high the tab should be when in its horizontal position. That’s how high you should insert it—you are aiming for the ‘closed’ position of the socket. Be very gentle and don’t force anything.

Can someone help me find the short connector out of the 2 that are on the bottom side of a 3ds xl motherboard? the one for 3ds alone, is not compatible with 3ds xl. Thank you.
