I have a wifi only ipad2 and I wanted to know if you can install the replacement GPS antenna in it? I will be replacing the wifi antenna and thought I could do both. Thanks Josh
Hi jsdaughhetee, unfortunately that won’t work, as the iPad 2 Wi-Fi logic board does not have a GPS chip to receive the GPS signal from an antenna. This is true for all iPads; only the cellular versions have GPS support.
