The page turn button on the right side of my Kindle is busted - when I press it, nothing happens. The other one works fine. Does anyone know a way to fix the page turn button?
One possible cause is a damaged or shorting ribbon cable. While repairing my Kindle’s power button, I accidentally damaged the narrow flexible ribbon on the right side. Two of the four copper traces were torn and I discovered two of the page turn buttons don’t work anymore. I may try to replace the ribbon and see if it solves the problem.
Replace the logic board or if there is one, the button board.
