Hello, I have a 15” 2017 MacBook Pro and was wondering on the likelihood of updating the logic board really I am really looking for the hexacore CPU and 32GB of ram..! I have just purchased the 13” 2018 MacBook Pro (maxed out, but for the SSD) and this appears to leave my equally maxed out 2017 15” MacBook Pro in the distance in regard to speed. thanks is this something an authorised dealer would offer..?
These machines are just not upgradable after purchase. You would do best to sell this one and order a new one with as much storage and RAM as it will take. Even finding a new part would probably cost as much as the whole new machine.
