I recently replaced my screen, Ipad 6. I accidently scraped off a vital piece for the home button to connect. Did I just destroy my device??
The pads look to be in good condition so replacing the Home Button connector is a straightforward repair for an experienced micros-soldering technician. As for repair, look locally for a reputable shop that does micro-soldering repairs. Ideally, you want to find someone local but good workmanship trumps locality. There are many shops worldwide that do this so you shouldn’t have any problems finding them.
