Ok, Quick and simple, stupid cat got sick on my macbook and fried the logic board. I happen to have a few newer logic boards and was wondering if any of the newer models would work? Has someone put together a cross reference for compatibility between MBP models?
No, unfortunately not. I wanted to the same thing but the boards are actually slightly different, the connectors are also all different. The processor may also be different thicknesses so the heat pipe might not fit right. Hope this helps, John H. Laney
