Chosen Solution
This (å␀␀␀õ␀␀.␀␀) always appears in the trash and won’t empty it. I can drag it to the desk top and it disappears, but comes back when anything is put in the trash.
Try holding down the “option key” while emptying the trash, the item may be locked.
