Chosen Solution
I have a MacBook Pro 17" that will start up, but it gets half way thru the start up screen and then it quits. Don’t know why it will not go beyond that. It shows the Apple and the line under it starts to move and then about half way across it goes to Black Screen. Any ideas? Thanks, Update (08/22/2016) Fix the problem. Install a 2TB drive and it didn’t like it. Went back to a 750gb and works fine. Thanks, Ghostdancertwoone
Most likely your drive is having problems but without knowing what your exact system is its hard to tell.
