Hi, I’ve had a look at the photos for all macbook bodies and found the Macbook 13inch mid 2010 photos. But after opening up the back of my macbook, I can’t find the 2 square terminals you describe. In the area described I can’t find 2 square terminals positioned vertically. [image
The 2 photos show the back of my macbook. If you can, be grateful for someone to point out where the power-on pads are. cheers Nick
@macnick looks like this board has had plenty of water damage. You do want to take care of that before you try anything else. There is enough corrosion on the board to shorten out plenty of components. Anyhow attached image shows the Power-On pads. Check the corrosion inside your connector as well. Disaster waiting to happen :-)
