cannot find a chat headset compatible with the xbox one s. purchased three different headsets which were all meant to be compatible but none are working on the one s. i even had the console replaced incase it was the problem. the headsets are all working on friends xbox one but not on the one s. please help x
Funny story, the headset that came with PS4 actually works. I have been using it for some time. It is likely that the iphone earpods will work as well but mine are Chinese spec, which have the mic pin reversed. I can’t get the chat and stereo sound to work at the same time. Dunno if the US spec ones will work.
You need to find a headset that has a plug on your controler ( at the bottom ) and conect it, i may be wrong but give it a shot
Make sure you use a Xbox one controller with a headphone jack. Some of the earlier ones lack one. Another weird thing. My sons beats did not work with the cord they came with but had an extra V-moda Crossfade 2 cord with mic and it worked perfectly. Also my V-Moda Crossfade 2 with the cords it came with works perfectly. Also the V-moda crossfades sound great for music etc.
